'What is mushroom leather?'
Mushroom leather (also known as mushroom skin) is a new leather-like material made from mushroom mycelium. The mushroom skin used by mushco is made from 100% natural mushroom mycelium, without using petroleum-derived materials such as PVC*. This significantly reduces the environmental impact of leather production.
This is a new-generation ethical material that achieves a leather-like texture without sacrificing animals.
*PVC: Polyvinyl chloride

'The charm of mushroom leather'

"A unique pattern and a gentle texture that evokes nature"
It features a gentle texture and unique pattern that can only be achieved with natural materials. The color shades and unevenness that occur during the mushroom growth process occur randomly in each piece of leather, allowing you to enjoy a one-of-a-kind product that is just for you.

"Environmentally friendly"
The material is made from renewable mushroom mycelium that grows in about two weeks.
Compared to animal leather, production requires 1/4000 of the water, 1/800 of the land, and 1/12 of the time.
It is a material that is kind to both the earth and animals.

"Materials that think about the future"
The raw materials used to grow mushrooms are sawdust and organic matter.
This material is made from natural materials and promotes local resource circulation.
We will connect to a future where people and nature can coexist.
